This giveaway is for a pair of handmade, pottery earrings from ChiChiClay's shop. Her shop is filled with handcrafted earthenware clay jewelry and other functional pottery pieces.
This is a pair of handmade, pottery earrings made with white earthenware clay. Glazed in a simple but striking grey and accented with a single honey-orange dot. Delicately hung on handcrafted sterling silver earwires.
These earrings measure just over 1 1/4' in diameter and are suprisingly light-weight at barely 2 grams.
Each of my pieces in this series are hand-rolled into a thin slab, cut, hand-shaped, sanded and kiln-fired. Following the initial firing they are hand-glazed and re-fired. This process takes 4-5 days from start to finish. The backs of my pieces are unglazed for a true handmade look and contrast.
