So you wanna be an Etsymom?

OUR MISSION

EtsyMom Street Team is dedicated to promoting women artists and crafters who also share the joy of being mothers. Some of our members work from home, some work from other places, but we all share a love of creating beautiful, useful, artful things. Our goal is to create a forum where these creative EtsyMoms can inspire each other, discuss our work, share the success of juggling kids at home, with housework, jobs and creating for our etsy shops, as well as marketing ideas for Etsy.com, advertising and promotional opportunities, and maybe make a few friends along the way.


WANT TO JOIN?*****PLEASE READ THIS******
Follow the instructions below.

1. We ask that your shop have a bare minimum of 4 items listed for sale.

2. In order to be approved, please write one sentence telling us you are a mom with kids living at home, inserted as the very first line in your "Public Profile" on Etsy. Once you are approved for the Invision Board, you can take it back down.

3. You must register on the Invision Board [see step 4] with your exact Etsy username. The one you type into the little box when you sign in on Etsy, no added spaces or puncuation. ;)

--> If you are missing any of these first three steps, your application will be denied. Please re-apply with all 3 complete, and we will be happy to approve you. :) <---

4. Register at the Etsymom forums http://z11.invisionfree.com/EtsyMom_Street_Team/index.php?act=Reg&CODE=00

5. Join the EtsyMom Yahoo Group Mailing List. This list is our main way of communicating with the group through email. Only moderators will be able to send emails from this yahoo group, approximately 2 a month.


6. After you are approved, please go to the Invision Board, visit the FAQ.
If you have questions, you should be able to find the answers on the board. If you don't see the information you need, you can post a question in the Help! thread. :)


MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

-On Etsy, we'd like members to list their street team membership either in their shop announcement or shop profile. Items can be tagged with 'EtsyMom Team'
